CLEMSON, S.C. – Several Radford track and field athletes competed at the Clemson Final Qualifier on Saturday, which was highlighted by senior
Raschad Kelso's first 200m victory of the season.
Kelso took top honors in the men's 200m, clocking a time of 21.33 and recorded the fourth fastest time in school history.
Elsewhere in the sprints, sophomore
Kaise White ran a 48.26 in the 400m to grab fourth place.
Brett Olinger recorded a 53.26, another all-time Top 10 mark, in the 400m hurdles and finished fifth overall.
Bryan Wallace continued his strong push towards the end of his senior season in the long jump, as he recorded a mark of 7.25m/23'9.50” and tied for sixth.
For the second time this season, junior
Justin Smith surpassed the 16-meter mark, as he finished sixth with a toss of 16.15m/53' in the shot put.
Curtis Hodge tallied a seventh-place showing in the hammer throw with a distance of 55.25m/181'3”.
In the women's field events,
Nikki Roseberry had a 1.61m/5'3.25” mark in the high jump to finish fifth and
Aimee Veatch took third place with her 52.00m/170'7” throw in the hammer.
