Coming off their fourth consecutive series win, Radford is back on the road briefly as the Highlanders travel to face James Madison on Tuesday night.

Tuesday's trip to Harrisonburg is part of the sparse road schedule for the Highlanders in March – Radford is back home again for six of the next seven games following the game at JMU.

In the Marist series over the weekend, the Highlanders dropped the opener before taking the final two, including Sunday's late come-from-behind win.   Six of the first seven runs of the series came by way of the home run – Matt Mack hit a pair, including a two-run blast in the third inning of Saturday's game, staking the Highlanders to s 6-0 lead.   Jeff Kemp went 3-for-9 in the series with a homer, three RBIs, two walks and a pair of stolen bases.

Jake Palese gets his third midweek start of the season on Tuesday – Palese is 1-0 with a 2.22 ERA as a starter in 2012.   In last Tuesday's game at Virginia Tech, Palese went five-plus innings, allowed two earned runs and struck out four batters with no walks.  He left with the Highlanders ahead 3-1.

Since 2008, Radford is 6-3 against the Dukes in what is typically a home-and-home season series between the two teams.  JMU, which enters the week 5-14-1 (0-6, CAA), leads the all-time meetings 25-19.

Tuesday's game is the final one before Big South play begins – nine of the next 10 games for the Highlanders are in league play, beginning with this weekend's series against UNC Asheville.
