STREAKING RADFORD SET TO HOST VIRGINIA TECH WEDNESDAY NIGHT

RADFORD, Va. – Riding a nine-game win streak, the Radford softball team looks to avenge a one-run defeat to New River Valley foe Virginia Tech earlier this season when the two teams meet again Wednesday under the lights at Radford Softball Stadium.

In the first matchup on March 2 in Blacksburg, Virginia Tech prevailed in a pitchers' duel, tallying runs in the first and third innings to take a 2-1 decision. Abby Morrow limited the Hokies to just three hits and one earned run in the complete game. The Highlanders recorded four hits against Tech's Maggie Tyler, scoring on an RBI single by Marissa Gagliano in the fifth.
