ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Radford women's golf team is in ninth place through one round of play at the Winthrop Intercollegiate on Saturday.

The Highlanders shot the best on par five holes as they were had an even average and are shooting 319 as a team. Sidney Walker is tied for 17^th place in the individual leaderboard, which is the best of any Highlander. She completed the first day five-over (77)

Not far behind are Morgan Cox and Meagan Board in a tie for 29^th place, while Khushboo Thiagaraj is in a tied for 34^th shooting a 10-over. Tied for 53^rd is Kasidy Beckel.
