RADFORD SHOOTS SEASON-LOW 313 IN SECOND ROUND OF PLAY

SEVIERVILLE TENN. – Khushboo Thiagaraj jumped 10 spots into a tie for seventh place and helped Radford shoot a season-low 313 after the second round of the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, which concluded on Monday.

KEY STORYLINES

The Radford women's golf team shot two strokes better than the first day, but fell two spots into seventh place.
The 313 shot by the team in day two is a season-low for the Highlanders.
Thiagaraj knotted a two-over (73) in the second round, which was the best score from any Highlander in round two.
The senior tallied a team-high six birdies so far in the competition, while Kasidy Beckel has contributed with 19 pars, leading the team.
Beckel cut five strokes from her round one to round two score and moved up four spots on the individual leaderboard.
Jacksonville State is still in the lead after the second round with a 605 aggregate score.
The Thundering Herd are right behind the Gamecocks by only a couple of strokes with a 607.
