LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Led by Meagan Board and Khushboo Thiagaraj, the Radford women's golf team shaved 18 strokes off their morning round to move seven strokes out of sixth place after the first day of the Battle at Boulder Creek II.

KEY STORYLINES

The Highlanders have two players inside the top 15 at the conclusion of round two in Meagan Board and Khushboo Thiagaraj.
Board moved up 22 spots and shot 12 strokes better from round one to two. She is in a tie for 14^th.
Thiagaraj is also in a tie for 14^th after shooting seven-over in rounds one and two.
For Board the one-over (73) in round two was a single round career low for the senior.
Georgetown holds a 21 stroke lead and is firmly in first place through two rounds of play.
