CHARLOTTE, N.C. –
The Radford cross country team returned to Charlotte for the 2018 Queen City Invite where the men finished 13th out of 30 and the women took 18th out of 29 on Friday evening.

In his collegiate debut, freshman Joe Limo impressed with a time of 26:20 to lead the men's squad with a 52nd place finish. Sophomore Juan Cisneros was right behind him in 56th thanks to a 8K personal record time of 26:27 which tops his time of 27.20.8 from the 2017 Big South Championships.

Fellow sophomore Pete Decker kept pace with Limo and Cisneros before crossing the finish line in 26:34 for a 60th place finish. Rounding out the scoring for Radford were sophomore Mak Casey (91st, 27:27) and freshman Bethwel Cheruiyot (128th, 28:09) while senior Joe Spriggs (185th, 30:09) also represented Radford.

On the women's side, it was senior Percie Lyons finished first for the Highlanders. The Kailua, Hawaii native posted a time of 19:14 to place 73rd in a large field of 262 runners.
