BRADLEY NAMED MEN'S XC SOUTHEAST REGION REPRESENTATIVE BY USTFCCCA

RADFORD, Va. – Radford cross country head coach Sam Bradley has been appointed as the Men's Cross Country Regional Representative for the Southeast region, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.

In just his first year as a Highlander, Bradley becomes the first member of a Radford coaching staff in program history to be selected for the position.

"I am extremely excited to be voted in as the USTFCCCA men's cross country representative for the South East region," said Bradley. "It is a wonderful opportunity to elevate the region within the sport and help convey the ideas and thoughts of the region to a national stage."

The Regional Representatives convey ideas from other schools, coaches and institutions within the region to the USTFCCCA and the NCAA whilst also advising and discussing potential rules changes, means and methods of enhancing and improving the sport.

Alongside Radford, the Southeast region includes some of the top cross country programs in the nation including Virginia, N.C. State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Kentucky, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, North Carolina and many more.

There are nine regions in total with each region receiving one representative for men's and one representative for women's, making the positions extremely coveted.
