CHARLOTTE, N.C. - After running to her second victory in as many appearances on the season, Hannah Moran was named Big South Female Runner of the Week by the conference Wednesday.

The honor comes for Moran following a 28 second victory over the field at the JMU Invitational Friday. This is the first such honor for Moran in her first season for the Highlanders after coming to Radford following her graduation at the University of Virginia. Moran was also victorious, in a school record over four kilometers, in her first meet of the season at the Virginia Tech Invitational.

Moran and the Highlanders will continue their season at Live at Louisville in Louisville, KY on Oct. 2.
