Big South Basketball Media Day Set for Wednesday, October 15; Watch Live on ESPN+

JOHNSON CITY, TENN. – The annual Big South Conference Basketball Media Day will be held Wednesday, October 26th at the Carnegie Hotel in Johnson City, Tenn. The event tips off the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons with the announcement of the preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams at 10 a.m., and includes live interviews on ESPN+, the Field of 68 Media Network, and interview sessions with local, regional and national media outlets all beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The day's ESPN+ live interviews kick off at 12:36 p.m., with the Radford Highlanders set to take the stage starting at 2:48 p.m. Radford men's basketball head coach Zach Chu will be first on the show followed by Jaylon Johnson, head women's basketball coach Mike McGuire and Joi Williams. Evan Lepler will host the coaches' interviews with John Williams interviewing Radford's student-athlete representatives. A link to the show can be found HERE.

The Field of 68 will also be live on their YouTube channel and X account from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. interview the conference's men's basketball head coaches. Hosted by Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster, Radford head coach Chu will join the show.
