RADFORD, Va. – Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, Shelli Sayers, and Head Cross Country Coach Sam Bradley revealed a seven-race 2023 Radford cross country schedule on Monday afternoon.
 
The fall 2023 slate, in which both the men's and women's programs will compete, features three races to be held right here in Southwest Virginia.
 
On Friday, Sept. 1, the season officially begins with the Virginia Tech Invite, hosted by the Hokies on their home course in Blacksburg. The Highlanders then hit the road to Boone, N.C. where they'll run in Appalachian State's Covered Bridge Invite on Friday, Sept. 15.
 
Fellow Big South school Winthrop welcomes Radford to Rock Hill, S.C. for the Adidas Invite on Saturday, Sept. 30 and then Roanoke College hosts its Roanoke Invite in Salem, Va. On Friday, Oct. 13 for a bit of a conference meet preview.
 
The very next day, another Big South school – USC Upstate – hosts the Upstate Invitational in Spartanburg, S.C. and from there Radford returns to Salem, Va. For the Big South Championships which Radford is charged with hosting this year.
 
Cross Country season wraps up on Friday, Nov. 10 with the NCAA Southeast Regional, also slated to be run in Spartanburg, S.C. this time around.
